no, that is a completely unfair judgment. the over commercialization of music was the start of the rot in this country, and just because Hip Hop was not free from that corruption does not mean the entire art form was affected.the poetic integrity of Hip Hop's lyricism still remains intact to those intelligent enough to search for it.
