supermaistro, if you do your research, you can get a good 928 that will give you years of troublefree driving. I have owned 4. the first was junk because i had no idea what to look for. the one i have now is incredible and trouble free. it is a 1988 S4 and feels like new. i looked for one that had been well maintained with all the records. look for one with recent timing belt and water pump for sure. make sure the a/c has been converted to r-134. make sure only synthetic oil

In a word: "yes"My dad sold his after about 10 years of ownership because the car was in the shop almost as much as it was in our garage. Although he now regrets selling it. No Porsche is cheap to maintain, especially the older ones. Parts are often hard to find and take weeks to ship because they are coming from Germany or elsewhere in Europe.

search victory by design and check 'em out. they are good, but the porsche segment they didn't mention 928. plan to do a sequel - full on vbd spoof on the 928gts. |
