Well, van morrison IS British (Belfast was part of Britain last time I looked out of the window), but I get your point. Stevie loved Buddy Holly, and others, and lots of British bands, as inspector says, were influenced by American blues, r'n r, and r'n b. No shame in that. RIP Stevie and Ronnie.
