What a pity glitter & glamour became more important for her than tennis. Also, she suffered from a very persistant back injury which wasn't exactly helping her to improve much either.

I met her in 2002. When I shook her hand, I was shocked by how strong her grip was. Gorgeous and could kick my butt. Quite a combo.
