Hmm, Bush 1 may be a dinosaur, but I think you've gone a little bit off the deep end if you're somehow equating this song with his presidency. Besides, who cares? His son has been screwing things up left and right and running this country into the ground for the past EIGHT YEARS - I think we have better things to do than reminisce about the apparent (according to you) "good old days" when his daddy was in power.

This is a snapshot of an era, the late 80's and how fun it was. We will look back and say WTF? Bush 1 was one of the best presidents ever! Bush 1's 4 years were better than Reagan, better than Clinton, better than shrub. Berlin Wall came down, B52 bombers stood down--GHWBush (1)is so underrated, but time will give him props. This song is a reflection of how fun this time was.
