This video will demonstrate that the real Oswald was much different than he was portrayed by either the government or its critics. Not only was he NOT a communist but he was a fanatical anticommunist whose role model was the number one spokesman for the FBI's campaign against the reds.

And yes, Oswald did read some marxist literature early on, in order to be able to talk the talk, and undoubtedly liked to have commie literature laying around to impress people. He was all about creating the appearance that he was a communist - just like his hero, Philbrick did for nine years.

David, I have presented a LOT of evidence that Oswald's interest in communism was feigned. What evidence do you have to support your assertion that he attempted suicide because he couldn't defect??He spent a LOT of money (over $200 in today's money) to apply to a school in Switzerland before he left Japan. If he didn't do that to create a cover before applying at Lumumba U, then why did he do it?Do you think he was obsessed with Switzerland too, David?

Oswald tried to kill himself because of his despondency of having his defection plans dashed and the prospect of having to return to the U.S., embarrassed by his failed plan. Regarding his interest in Marxism: Oswald was a voracious reader. He read Marxist material all the time. Library records bear this out. Even his conversations with others confirms this. Once he actually settled into Russia, Oswald being an AMERICAN was what what him different, not being a Marxist. So he went THAT direction.

Oswald showed enormous interest in "Russia" to the point where he tried to kill himself when his assignment looked like it would fall through. But he showed zero interest in Marxism, as the KGB confirmed. What does that tell you, David?Do a little googling on Herbert Philbrick, then remember that both his brother and mother confirmed his obsession with this guy. He was a hero to many young people back when communists were loved about as much as terrorists are today.

The KGB has been very forthcoming and open about their dealings with Oswald in the immediate wake of perestroika and glasnost - even sharing their files on Oswald. Naturally, they showed some interest in Oswald, admitting that they suspected that he might have been sent to be a spy. Then they noticed, and puzzled, over the very things that puzzled Americans about Oswald - that he always showed interests in unexpected things. Why would somebody, so admittedly interested in Russia show no interest

You need to be objective David. Oswald mimicked the life of the man he was obsessed with for three of the most impressionable years of his life and his life thereafter - Herbert Philbrick.Real communists don't join the Marine Corps David. Oswald's Marxism was as phony as a three dollar bill. Part 3 will be up soon. Ever wonder why LHO almost broke into tears when his request for a *4 DAY VISA* to Cuba was turned down??What do you think he was up to?

Oswald was a contrarian. He was always striving to be different in what ever environment he found himself in. In the U.S. Marines - he claimed to be a Marxist. Once he got to Russia and started making Russian friends, he started touting his Americanism. Robert Oswald, his brother, explained this aspect of Lee very well. Lee just wanted to be different and be noticed.

David, watch part 2 of my Oswald vids. You will learn that the KGB monitored Oswald closely and reported that they were extremely suspicious because he expressed absolutely no interest in Marxism whatsoever and wouldn't even attend the meetings.

Actually, whenever asked if he was a "communist", Oswald would almost always correct them by stating that he was actually a "Marxist." To Oswald's way of of thinking, there was a big difference.
