k your making it sound like every person in cape breton is on welfare if ya think that get a reality check because WE ARENT! & ya i like living here better then living in a big huge city and ya go on about welfare checks here well go for a drive around out west or wherever ya live because im sure you'll find people living out on the streets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cape breton is a gorgeous place and there may not be as much work but i would love to be able to return home and live there. There is no denying it is not a great place.

Well maybe if you go, you will appreciate it more. Good luck thinking there is something better out there. All places have their issues. Go to the best places in the world, and there are always slums and the poor in the back ground, boarded up buildings and drugs.

where are you going with rome wasnt built in a day? you can convince yourself everything is better there, but not me i know the truth and im not scared to recognize it.believing which i did there was a better place i believe in myself and i hoped to get off the island and find a life somewhere.

Rome was not build in a day, every place has it stories. Without them there would be no history to tell. Labour abuse is apart of history everywhere, eventually yes mills were subsidized, yes some punched cards and when fishing but some did not. I know one 80 year old gentlemen who did not ,he was a honest worker. Lots of stories from him, and lots of stories of men who work before subsidizing who lost their lives, melted alive as they feel into hearths. Believing, Faith and Hope.
