Dragonskin has just proven that its great in ambient temperature environments, just not anywhere else. The military puts all armor through rigorous tests besides propping it up and shooting it. Dragonskin failed those and failed them badly. Even contractors are finding they fall apart after long wear and tear. For local SWAT the stuff would be great since they don't wear it all day.

that wouldb ea good test but lets be realisistic, it would totaly peirce through and if not, the kenetic energy would reak havoc on your organs, but again it hasn't been done...

I don't think it would matter if the grenade pentrated the vest, the shock could still cause serious internal injuries.

I take that back. Nevermind!
PaulyCracker (July 5, 2008 at 7:19 am)
It doesn't. Dragon Armor isn't dragon skin.
DaniKiller (June 25, 2008 at 12:50 pm)
bbisnothotkratos they faked the results of that test ( cuz the the dragon skin is too expensive )keep in mind, the CIA took it XD,it past there test
bbisnothotkratos (June 25, 2008 at 5:17 am)
so why does the us army consider this unsafe?
CannocheeAirsoft (June 21, 2008 at 3:53 am)
ok thats cool yeah it probally has a higher velocity like you said thanks
DemiroBiH (June 19, 2008 at 11:37 pm)
Thwe ultimate test would to shoot the armor with a Barret .50cal
hcbstrd (June 16, 2008 at 10:15 pm)
I forgot something...you have to consider the barrel length, it affects the muzzle velocity. |
