yea i'd like to know that too, but in my opinion i think the bo shuriken were used for a close range situation because they did rotate. Regular Shuriken were probably used for longer range since any way it hits the target it will cut/stab ect. just my opinion tho ^_^

i have a solution for you Phreedahm, you can use weapons with more than one sharp end, such as:shuriken;samurai stars;and other things like that, but the main thing i suggest are "caltrops" because no matter which way they land or hit- they always have a sharp end go into the target, and it will be easier to aim when you cant fully concentrait your power

i tried doing this with 9" stakes 1/4" diameter.. my arm was so sore after 15 minutes. ahaha.
