Oh, I forgot to add, since I bought my new PC, I DO NOT use the following anymore: Morpheus, LimeWire, Kazaa, and the like.

Yep. Here is what I do (let me know if you agree)... I use Trend Micro, firewall is up, anti virus/spyware is on (obviously lol), scans every few days, email/spam filter is on, scans every hour for wireless PCs wanting access, and blocks. Windows firewall is on (Vista). Dump temp. internet files, and cookies when I log off, and C Drive clean every other day.

the best technique for virus protection ( it costs a little money ) go to your local computer store, buy a few different virus softwares (make sure they are the latest) and install them all on and run them every day because some viruses can bypass some antivirus walls but not all.

i got to cmd.exe using internet explorer and typing in C:/windows/system32/cmd.exe if you just wanted to know how i did it.

Don't get me rong AVG is good at blocking virus from getting on your system but when you have a virus already on your system AVG gets its ass kicked... my best bet is to not trust any of the software and manuel kick it ass/Remove the virus |
