Si, I liked Ronstadt back when she was dating Jerry Brown, and doing Coke with the Eagles and Jackson Brown,.....but Emmylou just got better after the drugs and Grahm Parsons, LINDA? she got fat and started singing Spanish songs that nobody wanted to hear. SAD. I last saw Emmy at Springfest in Pensacola Florida, in I think,....2003. Midway through the show, my date asked me why I was crying. Tears of JOY, I said. ELH will be gorgeous when she is 106.

She appears on Gram's two solo albums, which can be purchased on one cd. GP and Grievous Angel. gram sobered up just in time to hit a pair of grand slams. Emmylou is in fine voice throughout the albums.

Patty Loveless is probably my favorite female voice coming out of the 80's and 90's...Yearwood follows her...Reba...well..she sang some good material(Fancy for instance)..but I'm not a fan of her sound...but to each their own..

Sorry, I just don't see it..and I've seen the ACL tribute...I comment only because that is something I've never heard before- most folks across the board would most likely saw Willie is a better player- perhaps it's his style?Now singing wise, OF COURSE..lovely voice..

I first met her at CSU Long Beach in 1975 @ a free lunch concert, with Dan Reed, who became her first off. photogrpaher. I saw her many times in SoCal, both front stage and back, and she was always gracious, happy to see us, and beautiful, in every way man can describe beauty. We're just blessed that God created her voice in the era of recording. Before I left the trailhead parking lot on a difficult 1978 Sierra climb, I queued up "Boulder..." on the "deck" to heal our battered bodies. It worked
