Video is from Google video."I don't like the term perpetual-motion", says Sterling D. Allan, founder of Pure Energy Systems.... whatever you might call it, the Perendev & Bedini Motors that Sterling brought to TeslaTech 2005 certainly caused a stir. Check out our conference video for close-up footage & descriptions of both motors in operation! In Sterling's words: "The Perendev motor replication was built by Douglas K. Furr, a Ph.D. Mechanical Engineer, for PerenTech(.com), of which I was founder. In Furr's expert design, each of the rotors can be infinitely adjusted in relation to the other in the off-set of drilled holes, and the holes and pins enable one to insert and take out magnets with relative ease. I suppose if someone with more patience than myself were to tinker around with the device, they might achieve eureka in which the thing begins to accelerate."

This is simply a well-built flywheel. There is no energy being created, it's only being stored as kinetic energy as a rotating mass.

this is very pooru need 2 grt on with something else that may work

Snake Oil at it's finest. There is a reason we have no "Physics Police".There are some laws you just cannot break.

Beautifully made machines, and at least did it on a reasonable scale...no need for huge things to prove a principle. Unfortunately, all this proves is that it doesn't work. You don't need a patent or investors to make money off of this, nor will oil or the CIA get you, there are cash prizes and endless lectures to anyone who can do it.What is more required is mot to go for over-unity (not going to happen IMHO) but in efficient recuperation of energy. eg A car that generates power in breaking.

If you want to sell something the key is to pretend that you know what you are doing and make your sentences sound true by using words that sound scientific and that the average joe doesn't understand. People should be carefull when the words perpetual motion or free energy are mentionned since there is no such thing; they simply contradict the laws of thermodynamics. I hate when people use words such as momentum, kinetic energy and especially inertia when they don't even know what they mean.

dante1969-if u notice in this video , he keeps rotating the shaft of that perendev replica , and it picks up speed because magnets on those rings provide thrust , but then slows down.about perendev, why hasnt mike brady demonstrated the working of the device to the scientific community?? is he a fraud? and his site looks fake as well!Magnets just dont provide energy on their own, its like taking gasoline and trying to poweritself without anything. u give something and u take something
Dante1969 (June 25, 2008 at 10:17 pm)
incorrect. See Perendev model. This is not the common case in which the recharging energy is provided from the same engine that use it.The Perendev is a self moving device that could be engeenered to produce more of the needed to feed the electric motor.Mind that the Perendev can work ever, even if the car is parked and in endless way.So this is a real way to produce cars with a self energy charge. The cost? maybe every year you need to change magnets? ( how much you think they costs?)
energyscience (June 23, 2008 at 5:51 pm)
magnets can provide extra thrust but NOT free energy.
