not really. the way the snare is accented on 2 or 4 (or if your counting it as triplets or 6/8 the snare beat is on 4). its more like a 4/4 beat with a waltzy ride embellishment if you know what i mean? it ends up making it like in 6, but its such a polyrhythmic feel you can count it as both
