The military allows people with criminal action to serve, but not gay people? WTF? Pathetic. And this idiot woman using one case of a rogue groups of lesbians? Come on!? Men rape women in the service all the time, I guess we should ban women. I only like Dont Ask Dont Tell because someone could use it too get out of being stop lossed. If they have the balls to say their gay, even if their not. I'd use it against em'.

I'm a military member who happens to be a forced closeted gay man. The Don't Ask Don't Tell doesn't stop the homophobe hateful remarks, jokes, comments, suggestions, sexual innuendos, etc, towards the GLBT community. And if I say anything at all to ask them to stop, they'd file papers to have me discharged...very discriminating, and the military gets away with it. It's hard having to fight two wars: Iraq & the hate within my military.

The COURTS' job is to INTERPRET and APPLY the law, regardless of whether it may be morally right or not. Thats being professional. Just like soldiers are supposed to follow whatever orders given to them by their superior. HOWEVER, that does not answer the question of whether the law is a correct one or not. Thats why LAW changes constantly.

I'm gay, and I served 5 years in the NAVY, and you know what, I had more sex on that ship with more men than I ever had at any other time in my life, and I never made or coerced any of those guys into it, they WANTED to do it.
