Here's a full quality version of Shawn Lane playing "Gray Pianos Flying", with Sean Rickman on drums. This footage is from Shawn's "Power Licks" instructional video and was privately shot at KTZZ-TV in Seattle, WA. in 1993.There were 3 lots of actual performance footage used for Shawn's 2 REH videos... live footage of Shawn playing at Sneaky Petes, Memphis (on the 13th Dec 1991) was used for the intro for the first video (Power Licks).... but as for the performance footage from during both videos, some of it was taken at "Musicians Institute, Hollywood, CA - 5th Feb 1993" (with full Powers of Ten band minus Todd Bobo/sax who apparently couldn't make it that day.... there is a live audience for this footage)....... the rest of the performance footage from his instructional videos (ie. "Rules of the Game", "Gray Piano's Flying", "Not Again" and one of the versions of "Epilogue: for Lisa") with just Shawn Lane and Sean Rickman playing to backing tracks in a private studio, with no audience, was filmed in 1993 at "KTZZ - TV, Seattle, WA.There were two versions of "Epilogue: for Lisa" in Shawn's instructional videos. The version near the end of the first video (Power Licks) was taken from the Seattle footage (with no audience), and the version during the end credits of the second video (Power Solos) was taken from the "MIT - 5th Feb 1993" concert footage. You can buy a selection of Shawn's live gigs on DVD from Shawn's mum, Diane, at ShawnLane.comYou can mingle and post with other fans of Shawn at : lanesblitz.comYou can read back through litterally hundreds of cool and very informative posts at the Shawn Lane Yahoo group (dating back to 1999) here : http://launch.groups.yahoo.com... have to join up)You can still read lots of interesting posts at the old Shawn Lane message board here : http://www.voy.com/88684/ and http://www.voy.com/88684/1/Tha... to Mick for supporting Shawn over the years, as well as taping (and organising the taping of) many of Shawn's shows!.

1 second ago- " An incredible beautiful music ! I have listened to it many years, hundred times and feel life is beautiful to live with this song. The song that combining 3 things : the dynamics of Jazz Drum, the powerful and warm of guitar solo and the hamonious-rich symphonic tones of systhesizers. And most important : All is Shawn melody flying !!! And we, people from around the world, flying too !!"

@TonyAab What you said at the end there is why I dislike most music like this. The music is built around supporting the lead guitar rather than equal contribution/interest created all around. An example in fusion that instantly springs to mind, Polytown: Terry Bozzio, David Torn, Mick Karn. It's not just a drummer's album, it's not just a guitarist's album, it's not just a bassist's album. Every instrumentalists shines as much as the other.

@TonyAab First off, I want to say that I appreciate the fact that Shawn's fans are not morons! I say this because normally if I were to comment on a video saying anything other than, "This is godly!" I am normally bombarded with clever arguments such as "uR a fag." Thought out responses are appreciated.Guitarists I am generalizing: Vai, Malmesteen, Petrucci, Lynch, Batio. More the rock side of shred.

@voodoochild12889 Check out Guthrie Govan man... I think he's now the Earth's biggest virtuoso, now that Shawn isn't here
