if your losing water with no external leaking your engine is burning it. check your spark plugs and see if there is any white residue which will let you know if water has been in the combustion chamber. Then have your cooling system pressure tested. Go to an independent shop or dealership and ask them to pressure test your cooling system. Most likely it is a blown cooling seal which is a common problem with the fc's. Good Luck

Both the rx7's and rx8's engines are the same displacement (1.3L), but the rx7 comes with a factory turbo allowing engine output to be higher. The turbo increases the engine's volumetric efficciency by 60%. Although the rx8's engine has been redesigned by moving the exhaust ports. The main reason for more high powered rx7's is due to the turbo.

when my fc was overheating i was losing water at the same time. Internally. The water seals had packed up. If it's not losing water there's probably a blockage in the system.

i prefer normal too but they chose spirit r because its lighter than the rs by 10 kg and breaks are a little bigger than rs.
