I use logic but FL usually uses the same terminology, what you're looking for is called "choke groups" or "choking"I think it's call the "FPC" or something like that, but open that and your step sequencer and you should find the choke setting there.Then just put whatever samples you want cut off by each other into the same group.Viola!

Hey man i got a problem.I use the mpd16 with fl studio using fpc. now i chop my sample up and load them up into each pad and can play them with no problem. however, when i play play it into a loop and maybe hit one pad and then hit another, the first pad's sample will not automatically be cut off by the proceding pad. What do I need to do?Thanks and great music
