OMG!!! SITTING HERE BORED WAITING TO SELL SOEMTHING ON EBAY & FOUND THIS. BLAST FROM THE PAST OR WHAT? They were so good on ice together we all thought then it a real Romeo & Juliet job & why aren't they married already? It still has that chemistry even now after all these years. Might not be as technically complicated as now but still PERFECTION.

it was not very complicated or tricky like the routines now, but...their art was so amazing. it seemed passionate and distant at the same time, a very different interpretation of bolero than is usually seenOTL

although famous for their 6 in artisic scoring their tec mark was also 5.9 and 6.0s from 11 judges(including russian) althougth only 9 marks are counted and they should know what they are talking about.Was it just me or did anybody else see that very hard and daring over the head lift which nobody could atempted now because it is illegal .My point is most comentators say things in the moment and I dont think that is what he meant if you have ever heard him on their other routines

I am absolutely amazed that I could see it again, never ever have seen better dance on ice, sure that in the next winter olimpics this could be again the winner, they were so far-far-far ahead their time:-)Wonderful, amazing, fantastic talents:-)

Torvill and Dean - icons What a magic moment - defined by perfection. This was one instance when the "fickle judges" voted correctly and didnt let some nationalism mar their decisions!
