Flaw's older material might be considered nu metal but they have come a long way with the way they sound. A lot of people may think they are nu metal because thats what they have been told or thats what they have read. As for looking up nu metal vids, it doesn't really prove anything because there is vids of bands that arn't nu metal such as Disturbed. The nu metal genre is not easy to pull off, thats why most bands that were nu metal are either disbanded or they changed their style.

alright dude let me get this straight and simple, many bands are confused about their style like man people say bon jovi is metal when at least is hard rock, saying some emo bands are metal when they arent and u saying this is hard rock, ok u seem u believe urself but when u see something on the internet dont believe as always see for ur eyes and undertsand with ur brain, cause all of ur comments have been hilarious. Ask anyone here what style is flaw and search nu metal vids

Say what you like dude but Flaw is not Nu Metal and if you look it up on wikipedia it says alternative metal or hard rock. As for AC/DC all the members consider themselves as rock. So maybe you should learn your music before you start trying to tell me whats what. Like I said before Flaw may have similarities to nu metal but it's closer to alternative metal or hard rock so face the facts.

dude study the genres of metal, how can u say its hard rock when ac/dc is. dude i cant believe u just said that, go see some nu metal vids in here and see if u see any flaw song in them, i can honestly teel u are wrong, see in wikipedia if u like or see any other site. its nu metal, no one will tell u its not.

Motograter was nu metal but you can't tell me that Flaw sounds like Motograter, though I do agree Flaw has a few similarities to nu metal but they are classified as Alternative Metal or Hard Rock. Just because a band sounds like another band doesn't mean they are in the same genre.
