I must say, that DC were unique in their appeal and their songs....they had something other girl groups at that time didn't. And to this day, Bey has that "it" factor that other female perfomers don't have.

I don't know--anything could have happened, but knowing how the industry is with skin tone and beauty...I don't think so. I mean the other girls are talented, but to soceity Bey has more of a cross over appeal, which one of many reason why she is so successful today.
