If your not down with spending like 2k on a warwick though, i got a Jackson c20 concert bass off the net for like under 300, and i just switched out the pickups to EMGS for like another 150 and its pretty damn heavy. Plus the action is almost as quick as a normal guitars.

im not sure of his exact equp but if you want a cheaper way of getting his tone get a sansamp and mess with drive, it sounds a lot like his. and play with a pick.
