That is because in the album Ghost opera, Kamelot tried a slightly different style. They are something called symphonic power metal, a mix between symphonic metal and power metal. AND THE BEST BAND EVER!!!

I listen to Kamelot, I wouldn't define nowadays Kamelot as power metal. For example the song Human Stain is more industrial rock...
