Nice point. It seems to me too that the satan idea is just a 'mechanism' built into the religion to provide an example to what happens to those who question authority. To me, questioning authority to see if we can find a better system is a virtue.Christianity suppressing the will to question & criticize is just part of the system of 'hooks' & warnings to keep it embedded in the mind.Another is the 'jesus said there would be scoffers'. Islam too has such mechanisms to keep the virus lodged.

Meaning that you see what I saw as a 12 year old going to church for the first time, and you had an objective view about the bible, and knew something was off about it, but can't quite verbalize it in a manner that accurately expresses why it is off. Still though great vid, I look forward to seeing more from you.

well thanks for you opinion at least, i just happen to disagree with the entire premise of your argument anyway. i feel as if i can say what i want to about a mythological character in a book. i may reinforce a theist to think i am a satan worshiper but it seems more like they are missing the point that i am calling their god the "satan" of his own book.

Sorry, but as an atheist, I don't like this video at all. It plays right into the hands of misinformed theists that think atheists are just Satan worshipers, or that we are just angry with God.I don't even say that I'd rather burn in hell than to worship a vindictive god for the same reasons.
