Well happy, want to clarify a few things for you. There are most certainly points in BJJ competitions. You get points for takedowns, passing your opponents guard (side mount, full mount, rear mount), successfully sweeping and reversing position on the ground.Yes the chance of breaking something is higher in BJJ than Judo but its very very rare to occur in competition. Really I see no point in fighting between the two arts, both are awesome and quite similar as well.

the thing about judo is is that it isn't harmfull as any other 'fighting' sport if it is done right other fighting sports are just brutal and about strenght this one is about good timing and having control of your techniques and having your opponent on his back is more then enough to call it defeated no blood is needed for a good victory |
