live performances will never sound just like the recordings, and they weren't meant too, unless it was a live recording.The thing with live music, that makes it amazing, is BEING there. All those people in the audience got an amazing experience we'll never know from watching a recording on youtube. Go to new york, go to tokyo, go to boston, go to paris, go to any damn palce that has live jazz and see for yourself.

the reason why the sax solo sounds different is because he was jamming which means he makes it up when it goes so it means, it always differs.3,2,1 "lets "jam"" - yeah....jamming
