Alamgir and sheky were the pioneers of pop music in Pakistan,though Ahmad rushdi has sung KO KO KORINA.but the first two singers were the established pop singers followed by nazia and zohaib hasan.it wz an excelent attempt to sing classical music by pop singer.

Just to put the record straight,Mr Alamgir is here in fact rendering a a Jagjit Singh composition.This is an old Nida Fazli ghazal originally sung and composed by Jagjit Singh & Chitra Singh.

im sanjiv raj karki a nepalese citizen staying in Denmark and today in youtube really made my day.i found the great ghazal form Alamgir & Enayet Hossain. who really has done great job.... i appricate their job and say salam to them and suggest them to keep it up in future.thanks and bye.

Lovely song, if you are Alamgir, the one I idolized in my younger days in 70s. I still listen to Dekha na tha every day. If youa are Alamgir then you would know what Radio Station played your songs in 80's to test the signals? |
