I know that. I grew up on the glam rock fashion. But what I meant is that usually, people use the term as an insult. That's all I'm trying to prevent. From this video, I got a lot of negative comments saying how "gay" the video was.

Well, it is a pretty gay-looking video - gay as in reminiscent of homosexual culture, not in that stupid insulting sense. The singer is probably straight, but it's a gay look. It just is. And it's a music video - sexuality is generally on display in these things regardless of which sexuality it is. By being offended by this fact, you yourself are pretty offending toward gay culture :P
