If you look real close, you can see a few industry superstars sitting in the audience (when I turn the camera away from the stage to point it at Ponzi for a moment).In essence, the environmental strategy of General Motors Europe is to reduce CO2 emissions in the short term and introduce new propulsion technologies in the long term. The goal is to offer customers vehicles that can operate on many different energy sources. "The multi-tiered approach includes accelerating the development of electrically powered vehicles, stepping up efforts to replace fossil fuels and increasing the efficiency of gasoline and diesel engines," explains Carl-Peter Forster, GME President. GM Europe will invest 700 million euros in new engines and transmissions in the next five years alone, with the first models already at the IAA. Carl-Peter Forster continues: "Opel's surprise for this year's IAA also symbolizes the versatility of our extensive environmental initiative. A concept car which combines electric propulsion and a turbo diesel engine in a way that is fundamentally different to previous hybrid propulsion designs."

stop selling crap gm. you need to produce vehicles with zero emissions. iam not buying another car until you do so. i might go ahead and convert my excisting car into hydrogen if you dont hurry your damn asses up. time is running short for car compamies unless you get off your asses.

True. Either way its General Motors Europe that makes all their new cars and technology. Their FlexFuel, Hybrid, BioFuel, and Fuel Cell technology. All tested and produced in Europe. Also their 4-Cylinder Shut Off in their Silverado, that was made there also.

I know u hate GM , but Gm Korea is different , in my country all Chevy are made in Korea , 3 years ago all chevy cars are made in US.....the quality is different , my old chevy was made in USA n it always has problems then I bought another Chevy that is made in Korea , the quality is very different !!! my old chevy has bad quality n my new one is not !this proofs that Korean CHevy is better than american chevy..

It depends on the country , in my country , some are made in Indonesia , some r made in Thailand , n some r made in Japan.....

I want a car with a huge screen tv in the dash board, with a desktop on it to access the internet with a built in tv tuner. Also, a dvd rw with radio and gps navagation system built in the big screen tv. Under neath the tv where the radio is etc i want a button on it to open up a huge tray for a wireless keyboard and mouse to go on there. Id live in my car then :).

cars and gas are so fkn expensive today its not even worth it to buy a car thats more than 2000$what a total loss of money cars and gas are today just 2 get from a to b! bring back fkn crank cars.

Otherwise known as the manufactors and inventors of FlexFuel & Hydrogen attempts. Everything is invented and tested here in Europe by General Motors Europe because of its resources, facilities, and the people.
