So true - talk about "unnecessary spending."I can understand why people take those jobs in this wacky economy, though - they're about the only secure ones available!Speaking of which, I wonder if America's economic woes are any worse because 15% of its population is in some phase of the legal system? And more than 1 out of 100 is incarcerated?? lol - insane for "the land of the free." And this is coming from a born-and-bred American.Sorry. Maybe a pot-induced rant there? Hahah.

and its welfare for all the federal agents, prison guards, etc. Its hard to fire government workers, even if their whole job is pointless.
