The movie by which all other movies are judges. #1 - When ever I discuss movies - which is often - inevitable someone will pipe up that GWTW is rubbish - of course, you then find out that they have never seen it. What rubbish! No question, cinematography, characterization, direction, music, acting - and the unparelled storytelling - this movie beats all others. Anyone who thinks differently is a fool!

Yep. Totally agree. Hollywood has gone downhill since... yeah when did films start to be crap? I'm 17 and I love the old movies. But then everything back then was sort of censored and artificial. I guess the films of today are all about being experimental, the good ones atleast. Titanic is recent to our time and its pretty good. Gone with the Wind is powerful though.

You know I'm 18, my Mother was the onewho inspired me to watch this. I have to say this is one my all time faveroit films...I can watch it over and over again. I really wish other people my age would give classic films like this a chance and actually watch them. They are so inspiring. There are very good arty films today, but in my opinion NOTHING will ever beat this film. She has inspired my way of living. xx
