Lee was even up against Cobain, dying on the same day. Plus, in the States, Columbia was a for-shit label in the mid-70s. Pushing Aerosmith, the Boss, Toto and their Dylan catalogue hard, they didn't know what to do with (and so, killed) some really great bands like Pavlovs Dog, Artful Dodger and the Feelgoods.

Were they not just effing amazing! Saw them many, many times in the late 70's and was lucky enough to meet both Wilko and Lee.There will never be another band like the good doctors from Canvey Island.God Bless you guys!
