How many art museums have gorgeous art galleries, 152-acres of scenic gardens, an elegant restaurant owned by famed chef Wolfgang Puck and displays timeless Hollywood films on its lawn? Well, um, let's see... I can think of one, OURS! The Indianapolis Museum of Art not only has some of the greatest works by the greatest artists but it has everything else we just mentioned. Whether you visit for an hour or for the entire day, you just have to get here.

I love the art museum. This is a cool video and I think they did a great job of capturing the gardens. I photograph the gardens as often as possible. Now I know about the lake too! Cool!

I'm sure it's a great museum and everything, but this museum pretty much boasts the same thing as countless other art museums across the U.S. I mean, a Wolfgang Puck restaurant is an "exclusive" draw?

One last thing, tc: funny that your stance on art is that it is not all beautiful in some way. I cannot begin to tell you how many debates I've become engaged in regarding the nature of art. The general consensus AMONG ARTISTS is that ALL art is beautiful IN SOME WAY (there are numerous sub-types of beauty), whether it's a Modigliani, a Rousseau, Piss Christ, or a photograph from Abu Ghraib. (That's 'terrible beauty'-ha!)

The IMA is an amazing art museum. Great place to go- good gift shop, grounds and cafe too, in case you get an 'art headache' from being in the galleries too long.

Sorry for the language in that one message Seth. Truly. I just cannot tolerate that level of arrogance. I should have exercised more self-restraint. Please remove the message if that makes you more comfortable.

tcdevine: 'The ignorance that perpetuated this abomination.' I'M abusive??? The only abomination/abuse I see is incredible ego inflation on your part. Let's see you make a video that attracts visitors to an art museum within the space of five minutes. Most would probably be comatose within the first two. Believe it or not, the vast majority of people are not in the arts;intricate details-some beyond their grasp -would only alienate them.

tcdevine, YOU are an ignorant, judgmental person. Guess what my fiance is? A fucking ARTIST, as well as a gifted architect. I have supported the arts since I had the money to, and triple -majored in Art History, French and Psychology at Duke. I know many local artists and have reared my two sons to appreciate art since they were able to walk. How dare you judge me AND Seth at the same time! He's doing a great job considering his limitations.

Thank you, Seth. My thoughts exactly. I think you're doing a great job. Keep it up! As I pointed out, you've already enticed at least one arts-literate person from Cincy to visit the IMA ! That's no small feat, and if s/he loves it, the word will just keep spreading. I tried to point out that you do short shows that, by their very nature, cannot explain all of the intricacies of every piece. I truly appreciate your work.
