Well at 2.7p per mile, and 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, it is kinda tempting :)I love that electric car makers have woken up to the fact no one will like them until they out perform the best of petrol...Just looking into the stats, there's no way petrol can keep up with what's coming... no physical gearbox (wheel drive), 96% efficient motors, massive torque from start... full charge in 10 mins (British Lightning tech) it's the end for petrol within 10 years I reckon...

one thing to say...bet you have a small dick and are praying no women notice....my 2000 Ford Ranger EV NiMH has more torque...is far rarer...and does not need fuel we hand money to foreign countries for...wouldn't be shocked if you are voting for McSAME

Yup. We're being scammed by big companies and corrupt government. People are converting their own cars successfully. Maybe someday I'll have one. :)

I got a W10 VW Passat with 450 BHP, like to see a gay electric car match that! Let the chinks and 3rd world countries drive them. Love the sound of my cars. Also got a Merc G450 Brabus V8 Supercharged, love it!!!!!

exactly, the space that will be taken up by the gas tank and the same i.c. engine that was in the geo metro that runs a generator now could hold plenty of batteries to give the volt the tesla roadsters advertised range.

Actually, the 0-60 time can EASILY be much quicker on an all electric car :) But I know what you are saying. Look at all the people who drive a car daily just to go to work in some office. The range of the EV1 could easily have commuted people to work and back on a single charge. It makes me sick, most people are looking at the Chevy VOLT as GM's first electric car, and it's a hybrid with less range than their EV1 made 10 yrs ago! WTF? Keep them oil companies happy GM!
