the truth of the matter is, that there are plenty of people who KNOW this war is wrong. the only down side is that no1 is willing to do anything to stop it. i mean yeah we can all agree that its wrong and we should be over there. but none of us will do anything to stop it. Agreed with your statement

You're right. I think if we asked to sacrifice a bit though, the war might seem closer to home and the voice to stop it would be louder.

I believe that one of the biggest problems with the war in iraq has been that WE HAVE NO REASON TO BE THERE!! thats just my opinion though. An imperialist country will be an imperialist country i suppose...

Do you remember the Arthur Murray building in Oklahoma city ? It was completely BOMBED OUT from the side and yet the building did not fall into its footprint nice and neat. The explosives were NOT set on the STRUCTURAL BEAMS but rather just one side (like 10 x the Debris of the WTC collapse).Just like when you try to crush a box, if even one side of the box has support it will not evenly fold down and collapse nice & neatly.Building # 7 had explosives rigged on support beams days before.

Please dear fellow citizens, for the sake of those who lost their lives we should not swallow the coolaid. First of all : buildings even closer to the WTC 1 & 2 were hit by debris and did not collapse. Second : If debris had caused damage then only one side would have collapsed first. Steel buildings have so much structural support that one side can completely collapse and the rest of the building will be stable. Building # 7 was "PULLED" into its own footprint using demolitions. 2 days work.

Are we asleep or do we never question authority ?If the Fire Commanders told Silverstein that the building was unsafe and they needed to "PULL IT" then how did they set the demolition charges on all the important structural supports in a matter of hours or minutes ? There is absolutely no question that BLDG #7 was detonated and I know it takes at least two days to set up explosives & wire them to detonate as an orchestra. I want the truth so For me the bottom line is: PRE-PLANNED DESTRUCTION.

From what I can tell, people can get fairly gullible. I am assuming that you are either a civil engineer who has dealt with many building demolitions or know someone who has that would be able to determine that after careful examination of the wreckage. Although that might be streching things because facts and research don't appear to concern you. According to Mr. Silverstein, he got a call from one of the fire commanders and since there had b een so much loss of life, they decided to "PULL IT"

One of the biggest problems with the war in Iraq has been that there have been no sacrifices from the public in general. Essentially the sacrifices have been left to those who are in the military and their families. I think if you had a kid or parent or sibling that was taken from you before their time, your outlook might be different, but it might not. I remember one of the questions put to McCain and Obama during one of the debates was about sacrifice for the war. My suggestion: horsepower
