no.. it was like the main generator souce for the whole complex cause what ur seeing in the video is aliilte of the ruins and whats left.. back 100-80 years ago the whole complex looked like a city within a city.. so the powerhouse was the source to power the whole city like complex

hello, my name is Melissa and I am a member of Fountain House in NYC. John Beard work at Eloise and eventually became the director of Fountain House, which is a psychosocial rehabilitation center for people with mental illness, aka a "clubhouse"

actually the main buillding is a county building now, no one lives there. the eloise museum is also in here. you can look on the county website for more info.

went here a few days ago there are only 4 buildings left the bakery,the fire house, the powerhouse, and the main building which is still in use as an old folks home. i just went in the power house last week there is still weird shit there clothes, hangers, furniture etc. also we heard kids screaming but never saw anyone but it could have been some one the kids at the homeless shelter next door. idk if it is haunted or not but you sure do feel creeped out when you go there. |
