They are allowed, but they don't have to go, some mosques don't have seperate rooms for the women, so they're not allowed altogether. But if a mosque does then yes.

They are allowed in the Mosque. But they dont have to go. It is Sunnah.

its cool. actualy da reason y i ment 2 b sarcastic was coz i was shockd at wat dat guy sed about women not being allowed in da masjid. the prophet's (pbuh) own daughter used to pray alongside da women. da question he postd was ignorant nd seemd 2 b due many culture depicting women 2 being inferior or dey hav 2 remain at hme nd so dey r not allowd 2 pray in masjids.

women are not discouraged to go in the masjid.. its a place for both men and women to offer prayer.. in my mosque theres an area (room) for the sisters to pray.. in a way it seperates them and prevents access to the main hall where we read our salah.. i believe nowadays, the reason why most muslims think its not permitted is because it has become the norm not to see a sister in the masjid so they dont wish to be out of place or draw unecessary attention to themselves
