i have troble with the double stops i have to do them really slow on viola..which makes it sound not good.

It depends. If I have school I haven't got much time. Sometimes after school I haven't got time to practise at all but I usually try to practice 1-3 hours a normal school day. At the weekends and when I have holidays I practise more - about 5 or 6 hours with some breaks of course;-).
