I've noticed a lot of comments saying how the "zombies" are scarier in Quarantine. Firstly they're not zombies in Rec, they are just residents of the apartment who have become infected by the virus - they have not rsien from the dead, therefore why is there a need to plaster tons of make up on them to make them look "scarier"? This is just one of the many reasons why Rec is in a completely and utterly different league to Quarantine.....realism!

Yes exactly, I think it's better with the subtitles, I don't know why - I guess it just makes it more scarier, it's hard to explain. But that american version looks shit though...P.S All of the actors/actress's were amazing in that movie! (REC)

I'm english and i don't have a problem with reading subtitles, which is a good thing cause i love forign films. The only time it's annoying is when they go by to fast and you don't have time to read it all. Apart from that its not an issue for me.
