Great show. I've been watching it on the Westerns channel again. All the killing and still it seemed every episode had a moral to the story handed down from Lucas to his son. What an enigma.

I always impersonate Chuck Connors' cocking of the rifle every time this comes on, still, to this day!...: I'm 19 years old & this is a T.V. show that was on around the late-1950's, or, so when my dad was 4-years-old, or, so.(**I'm gonna get my son to watch this show, along-side me & my father!...: Hell, I'll even name my 3rd, or, 4th son after Lucas, in tribute!**.; Lol.).

This is a crack up. I loved the show as a kid, even tried to emulate his cocking of his rifle with my BB gun, but I always wondered how he could kill so many men...and this montage was but a few select shows. He killed lots more. By the way, go back and watch him shoot his rifle in the bar scene when he kills the Mexicans...his shooting is all over the place but he somehow manages to kill them. Also, I see that The Rifleman is on one of the Encore channels.
