Not some, but ALL music nowadays just completely lacks any staying power whatsoever. It's all junk, the 70's/80s/90s were IT.

Despite the fact i was only born in the mid 80s...All of my favourite music comes from that decade....theres no denying the fact that the 70s and 80s impacted on music far more then any other period last century...Sure the 90s put out music unsurpassed since then...but the fact is that the best bands and the best music came out of the 70s and 80s...

Without those GLAM and Thrash metal bands we wouldnt have the music we have today...we would still be listening to the generic crap that the 60s and early 70s was pumping out..that is excluding ACDC, Iron Maiden and Kiss...all of which made their greatest music in the late 70s...Get your facts straight and get over that stupid idea that the 80s was insignificant to music...The 80s changed music, for the better than any other decade.
