the pop rock you all speak of is of course caused by what sells. period. teenagers buy cd's. sure some college kids buy em too, but after that.. the market is lost. older ppl have better things to do with their money. there fore pop, will always prevail, cuz it sells.

totally agree dude, Rock is energy... it seems that rock has become a simply pop music with elec guitars.. and I guess there is good pop music and bad pop music... in this case.. I define rock now a days as pop music with elec. guitars...periot.
