The 'poor white' problem of the 1920's which in my opinion is referred to in the video existed at a time when in all of Africa, Abyssinia was the only independent country and even that was conquered by the Italians under Mussolini in the 1930's.

A return to 'seperate development' as implemented by the National Party with an independent Zulu Kingdom split into 110 pieces and with not even Durban as a harbour is unacceptable. However, Pahad's emotional insinuation that 'apartheid' lasted 350 years and that it was a 'crime against humanity' is also not acceptable. The holocaust and the slaughter in Rwanda were crimes against humanity. I sinscerely hope that it is not ANC policy to implement affirmative action for 350 years. That is unjust.

The Afrikaner's home is in Africa. The Afrikaner has helped build South Africa into one of the best countries (if not the best country) in Africa to live in - this stands in shrill contrast to countries in the rest of Africa which could indeed be described as a mess. The Afrikaner's place in Africa was promised by the now defunct OAU.The Khoi-San peoples were the original inhabitants of South Africa. President Mbeki referred to the Boers as the first freedom fighters.

The only reason Africa has SO MANY PROBLEMS is COLONIALISM and the European invasion! there is nothing to fight for in a place where you dont belong! GO HOME! you can come back and VISIT even live but Africans need to clean up the mess that was left behind first!

Actually I do strongly detest any form of injustice that is based on race. However, I must admit that I am black and I am sure you are white. I do not subscribe to any backward beliefs of racial inferiority or superiority. However, the truth is we do see the world in different ways.What you are now so quick to point out is a corrupt, criminal government does not even compare to the previous regime that create the Apartheid system for the sole benefit of the whites in South Africa.

Do two things: Take your head out of your butt and stop smoking the crystal meth. It is only a sick, backward, and very patronizing white fantasy that black people like to live under subjugation. SA has some serious problems it needs to work through, but only the simpled-minded reactionaries think that a return to Apartheid is a solution. Once you take a genie out of th bottle you cannot put it back in.

I think that the white south africans should prepare for an civil war to bring back Apartheid not only whites want Apartheid back but also the poor blacks at least under Apartheid there were jobs and decent health care the black civil servants are all corrupt and so are the ministers. |
