i'm currently thinking of buying a synth.however, in the music shop i went, they only have Korg R3, and Korg M3 (the huge workstation).at this point, i'm seriously considering of buying this Korg R3, because it's cheaper, and more compact than Korg M3.however, i am still confused, as to the sound-banks & synth-quality, do you think Korg R3's sounds is good enough, even when compared with Korg M3 ? any info would be really appreciated!kinda need it ASAP.thx

whats better a microKORG or the R3 im looking for be able to creat music midi usb all that and being able to use it with the talkbox for a kool sound

I dont know where the closest shop that deals with korg is so i tend to buy online,Thanks for the help.Found the video really helpful.

well,the virus is 'phat' enough like a roland/nord/yamaha. korg is a step above all of these manufacturers...the phatness (thickness characteristic) of the audio output is a lot bigger in my opinion. doesn't mean you shouldn't buy others: some people don't like the overly fat sounds of korg and prefers a flatter 80's sound - then go for yamaha or roland.even many modern trance music use 'thinner' sound like roland/virus.depends on what you need.
