"Hey Dad, what do you think about your son now?" refers to being told by his Dad to do something else instead of music...so, he was saying, see, you're wrong! I made it! And take a picture refers to him back in his days prior to getting sober when he was drunk on a plane and went to jail for his behavior. Richard is awesome! I love Filter!
