the last good punk band out of england! i grew up on bands like the clash, the pistols, the ruts, the damned and the macc lads bested all of them by being not only talented but really fucking funny! we had a miserable time getting their records in the states as they'd been banned!

i was downstairs throwing lager upstairs lol. It was cheaper then! Was surreal whilst queueing outside watching shops being trashed opposite with TV and news reporters trying to film rioters and dodge missiles . Was surprised gig went ahead, but everyone was so tanked it presumably would have been worse if they cancelled it!

thats right- i was there the night of the poll tax riots too. they wouldnt come on until the lager fight between the stalls and the upper circle stopped. Great band. shame nothing around like them in these bland PC times. Wheres the rebellion these days??????
