they have GOOD riffs but nothing that I would call groundbreaking. i own the last two albums, 11 Dreams and Hours That Remain.

They need better riffs? hahahha.I guess this is the only Mercenary song youve ever heard? Architect of Lies is full of awesome riffs.

I don't like cause their structure on that album are too messy and sometimes are very hard to listen to... so I prefer the 2 latest album cause they rely more on verse - chorus - bridge structure, which I feel more comfortable with...

I dunno, I think their riffs are pretty melodic and fit well with the singing. But this isn't exactly a good song for rocking riffs. "The endless fall" has some catchy riffs.

they need better riffs. the vocals make this band. without them they are so-so at best.

I think they are too, Mercenary is a band that just keeps getting better as they keep releasing newer stuff. I just wasn't sure why pasko wouldn't like 11 Dreams cause it was still a bit similar to Hours that Remain, just a little heavier and more harsh vocals.

My goodness.First off, that statement is plain wrong.Secondly, it was AE - Rise of the Tyrant.Thirdly - This album was released in 2008.Lose the whole 666 thing buddy. Its pretty gay.

Ive got to say. I liked 11 dreams on the whole, but I do agree with pasko that THTR and AoL are better albums. They fit like I imagine them all, which I dont think I found with 11 dreams.
