Poor US citizens become poor US soldiers because the large multi-national corporations they spawned moved all the good manufacturing jobs to developing nations. Now the only 'honourable' work they can get is serving in the armed forces. Doing the dirty work for the same companies. If I remember during WW2 Norway got their asses handed to them by the Germans who you called an "inferior enemy". So what does that say about you?

America was fighting the Japanese with almost ZERO help from any major power. They fought a 2 front war while the Soviets only had to deal with an enemy that was fighting practically everyone. If you think the Russians would have lasted through that war without the lend lease program you're nuts. The Americans pushed all the way to Berlin's doorstep after the battle of the bulge but Eisenhower gave the Soviets permission to take the city rather than have American/British take more casualties.

We can't take on more than Iraq and Afghanistan though - we're shaking at the knees about to fall to our knees under the massive financial debt. Lets not mention the massive death/injury toll on BOTH sides!Time to go home and send them burgers through the post to feed the hungry. We'll send more monies over later to repair their homes once we've repaired our bruised economy.
