A "tatty one" would cost you about £15k, I restored a 1958 150 fhc auto and it cost me approx £37K.....just don't tell my wife.

I've been trying to buy an XK150 fixed-head for a while but they only seem to be restored. I'd love a tatty one and drive it !

Arent these cars just beautiful!!!! Why cant they make cars today like this with modern mechanics! who wants 500bhp,200mph,a computer designed projectile virtually indistinguishable from a dozen other manufacturers, cant be used and costs a fortune. Have we lost the point of the pleasure of owning something to be proud of. |
