LOL, funny watching yall's comments. You can't imagine how awesome this was back in '02 using a modified Component video cable that ran in VGA on a 75 ohm monitor along with a 60Wx5 DPL sound system. It blew everything else away at the time.

scared the crap out of me.....no super weapons.......just rapid fire (which for me was like semi-auto and i couldnt fire fast at all!) and it just scared me cause i was soooo weak!

Exactly. The thing that's so great about Metroid is that it's more than just a futuristic FPS. It has so much more to it's gameplay, which I think is mainly due to it's 2D-to-3D transition, when a lot of concepts transferred over successfully without much hassle. The other thing that's so great about Metroid is the extra layer of polish it gets to truly make it a work of art, especially this game. The Wii remake cannot come faster.

Seriously. We've only had about 10 Metroid games total (much more than Halo series), but it seems like they never seem to come out fast enough. I just keep wanting more. Halo series has already reached it sell by date.
