I've never met a child that didn't love this song. But it's a lot more sophisticated than that when you take into account the use of sound effects that gave the melody a "cinematic" narrative. Revolver had the most eclectic mix of songs & along with Eleanor Rigby & Tomorrow Never Knows, Yellow Submarine was more than just another pop song. It helped to launch a revolution in popular music.
